Visitors can be good medicine for patients. Family members and friends are welcome to visit. However, patient care is our primary concern and, in order to enhance the quality of care, specific visiting hours have been established.

Patient Services
Patient Gifts
Visitors should check with the nurse before bringing gifts of food or drink to patients. Please check with the nurse to make sure your gift is appropriate. On the intensive care unit, please check with the unit regarding any gifts for patients.
Mail
Letters and packages for patients are delivered each morning. Letters and parcels that arrive after a patient has been discharged are forwarded to their home. Outgoing mail may be left at the nurses' station.
Flowers
Flowers are delivered to the patients room. Please keep in mind that large plants and flowers are difficult to deliver and take home at discharge.
Patient Visits
Visiting Hours
General visiting is allowed from 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. daily.
Visiting Regulations
No more than two visitors are allowed at the bedside at one time.
Specially designated lounge areas for visitors are set up.
Healthy children under the age of 12 may visit and must be under the direct supervision of a responsible adult.
Visitors should be free of a communicable infection or disease.
Special visits to a patient may be arranged at the discretion of the attending physician and/or charge nurse.
Critical or Coronary Care
Only immediate family may visit.
The patient is allowed visitors for a five-minute period. Special consideration may be made depending on the situation with permission of physician and/or charge nurse.
Obstetrical
Obstetrics and nursery visits for tthe general public are from 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Immediate family members are welcome to visit at any time.
